Teachers First

In 2017, the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce launched Teachers First as a vehicle for businesses to support our teachers with needed supplies for their classrooms. For our first year we focused on elementary schools. This year we’re moving up a level to partner with our middle schools. As the program continues to expand we will be able to support all levels to include K-12.

Teachers First provides businesses the opportunity to impact schools by investing in the lives of their own future workforce. We’re reaching out to our local schools to create a list of items they need. Supplies can be donated through Friday, August 17 and can be dropped off at the Zebulon Chamber of Commerce, Zebulon Community Center and Comfort Master in Zebulon.

On Tuesday, August 21 our middle school teachers are invited to the Zebulon Rotary Building to collect school supplies that best fit the needs of their students. Supporting our teachers impacts their students, which provides them with the tools to compete and succeed this year and for years to come.
