Calling all cancer survivors! We need you to avail your experience in order to support and encourage patients going through the journey right now. If you have survived a battle with cancer, whether or not you are a member of the church, please gather with us for empowerment as caregivers. We will train on Thursday evening, October 10 at 7:00 pm in the DeElla Flowers classroom.
Here is what Tammy Zukoski has to say about the vision:
“My goal is to help others go through cancer as easily as they possibly can. Since I have been through it twice myself, I want to help others. I have had stage 2 breast cancer in 2008 and stage 4 liver cancer in 2012. I am in remission from liver cancer! I have gone through all the treatments with a positive attitude that I want to share with others. I found out that it is better to talk about it than hold it in… Even if I only help a few, I know I have done something to pay forward what I have learned from cancer.”
