About Us

At Oak City Customs we're passionate about repurposing locally sourced urban trees to create heirloom quality products with a rustic & industrial modern style & high attention to detail & customization!

We have a 14,000 sqft manufacturing facility located in Zebulon, NC, just outside of Raleigh, consisting of a fully equipped woodshop & metal shop!

We work with commercial clients such as architects, builders, & contractors, as well as, residential homeowners.

Our specialty is table-top & hardwood panel production, including classic-cut, butcher blocks & live edge panels. We often use unique slabs of wood that we produce 'From Tree to Table'!

We have a sawmill with the capability to cut 63" wide slabs, plus, two custom built, de-humidification style kilns that can dry approx 11,000 board feet of wood per month. This is in addition to over 100,000 board feet of air drying slabs & boards on the yard!

As a hardwood supplier, we regularly have Oaks, Maples, Poplar, Cedar, Sweet Gum, Cherry, Walnut, & many other species available for both retail & wholesale.

Panel production is a popular service we offer to other wood shops in the area, who may not have in-house equipment for larger projects. We have the ability to plane & sand up to 50" wide material. Additionally, we have a large clamp rack for producing edge-glued table top panels, a straight-line rip saw, panel saw & spray booth. Our kiln is also available for use. We offer a wholesale price at 75% of retail cost to any of our partners!
